When ever I think of a farm I think of the country. This is not always the case. Today people are learning how to “farm” even in the city. They are starting vegetable and herb gardens in any available soil they find. There are vegetable gardens in backyards. There are potted gardens on porches and balconies. There are even some gardens on flat city roof tops. From these gardens people are getting fresh vegetable of all types as well as fresh herbs to be used for cooking. Fresh organic vegetables are so much more favorable and full of vitamins. The fresh produce may be used for personal consumption or sold at farmers markets in the area for extra cash.
