The Blame Game

I can say I do not really understand why people want to blame the utility companies when the lights go out. A Hurricane, Hurricane Sandy, comes through and knocks out years of work. House are completely gone. Businesses are gone. Trees and boardwalks are gone. Yet people think it should all be made right in a matter of days or less and when it is not they want to blame someone so they blame the utility companies. Why. I understand people’s frustration and irritation when they have no control over what is happening to them but why blame the very people who are trying to help? The tradesmen are working overtime to try to help put things back to normal again. Thank them instead of blaming them for something that is beyond their control as it is beyond anyone’s control. Think about it.
